last night i slaved away over dinner...okay, the crockpot slaved away for four hours on our beef stroganoff dinner, but there were some key moments where i had to add noodles and things like that. at one point though, i was reading the directions and something struck me as strange. look at these directions and see if you can figure out why they ask you to wash your hands in the middle of it????
if only it were followed by, "and you should really put a little make up on honey" it would be just like my mother's voice.

Maybe the directions know a little more about your cooking habits than the rest of us...
It actually has you wash your hands twice, you gotta do it under step 2 as well. Hmm, seems to be after touching their envelopes you gotta wash. Maybe they know something we don't about their packets?? Although, you don't have to wash after opening the meatball packet...curious.
Anyway, too bad I'm not allowed to discuss with you a certain season finale I watched tonight!! Alright Joanna and Aaron - you have exactly until the new season starts to watch Season 3 - after that I can't be responsible...
LOL.. that's hilarious! I can't believe you noticed that.. I'm such a skimmer when reading directions... I don't get it either ??? Too funny!

okay people-for the record, dori and i determined the reason for all the superfluous hand washing. the packets are sitting amongst the meat! so after you handle the packets, you wash up! yay! mystery solved.
now wasn't that fun?
